Habitats for animals
Recreating the natural environments for the animals at the zoological parks takes a lot more than one might think. Being able to create an artificially natural environment that allows the animal to be able to thrive; and gives humans a better understanding is not an easy task. There has to be a deep understanding of how it is that animals forage, move physically and the type of natural environments that they live in. Furthermore, theses “natural habitats” are helping with the mental health of animals. Being able to create an environment that is both safe for the animals and for us is crucial. It is really a matter of being able to create an environment that is both aesthetically pleasing and safe for all parties involved. This is really the best way for the mass population of human to be able to observe these animals in their “natural” environment. Although, it is still a cage just without the bars it is the best that zoological parks can offer animals and humans today.
